Delivering unsurpassed quality and speed, the new CP 900UM printer represents the latest technology in roll-type, dye sublimation color printers using a newly developed color imaging control chip. The printer uses individual media data from this chip to control color development properties as well as providing three types of preset y-curves for instant compatibility with medical diagnostic equipment. The new 325 dpi print head reproduces images with even sharper detail and is capable of resolution up to 1280 x 1250 dots. A proprietary “straight” paper path combined with 8 MB of image memory allows for print completion in just ten seconds. Further advancements include: improved front- loading media access that provides easier paper changes, and a precision paper roll mechanism for consistent, jam free image reproduction.
